I have been going to Mezcal on Shrewsbury street for some time now and it is fantastic. So last week we decided to try the new location. It is big, loud, huge bar, and very nice except for parking. We parked in the garage they advertise that they will pay for parking if you go to the restaurant. We parked in the garage and on every floor on the garage was a huge sign stating that parking would be paid unless there was a DCU event and then they would pay half. So we parked there and it was $20.00 because of a DCU event. We ate and drank and when it came time to get the ticket reimbursed we asked the waitress how to go about the payment. She said let me ask the owner. She came back to the table and said they could only reimburse $5.00. I said that is false advertising and she said she would go back and see what she could do. She came back and said no $5.00 is it sorry. I was so angry I can't explain. As we got on the elevator for the garage there was another couple leaving with us. I asked them about the parking and they said they came in and said they were having drinks and got FREE parking. That made me even angrier. So if you go to Mezcal plan on paying for parking and it is not cheap. We will go elsewhere so we don't have to pay for parking or worry about getting reimbursed and that never happens. Plan on paying for parking.
