We adopted a stray dog that had heartworms about a month ago. We were very upset to learn that there is a severe heartworm treatment shortage that has been going on for a few years, and so many vets did not have the treatment in stock. We live in Traverse City and called all the local vets- only one of whom had the treatment. That particular clinic was not helpful and was reluctant to share the treatment with our dog because he was not an established patient. Pros: null Cons: null more

I have been going to Meyer Veterinary Clinic since I moved to town 4 years ago. I was recommended to them by both the old owner of my house and my real estate agent. I was amazed that the first time I called they could fit me in same day to see my dog... and have continued their stellar service ever since. The nurses are caring and always take to time to make sure my dogs are comfortable when they are drawing their blood or doing their toe nails. They doctors are understanding and take all the time needed when I need to talk to them. They receptionists are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I have left my dogs there when I go out of town and they even let me take them back to the kennels to see their facility. I leave knowing they are well cared for. I would not take my pets anywhere else! more

I love this place. Everyone is very friendly, and the doctors are very knowledgeable and caring. I have really enjoyed bringing my pets in here. The clinic is clean and efficiently run. Great boarding facility as well. more
