Quality merchandise! 3/15/2010

Since Meyer Bedding is a family tradition (my grandparents bought their first bed as a married couple from them), I purchased my first mattress from them when I moved out from "home".\r \r Since I'm a bigger girl and expected the mattress to quickly break down, I got the firm one expecting it would soften to the medium firmness I prefer.\r \r Ten years later, this bed is holding up as good and firm as the day I bought it! Springs fabric are holding up great! Seriously. You know those commercials with the lady jumping on the bed and the glass of wine that never spills? Could do that on this bed.\r \r I will be upgrading the size of my current bed this year, and I will replace it with the medium firmness....and of COURSE I will be buying it from Meyer! more

The best mattress you'll ever buy 2/28/2009

We recently replaced the first mattress we bought at Meyer Bedding 20 years ago. It still looked fine, but decided it was time. The new one is even better. I feel like I'm sleeping in a cloud! more

Very friendly 11/16/2008

I stopped by the store at the urging of a friend of mine. The salesman was very welcoming and nice. He was patient with my sons and very informative. He was not pushy and helped me make a decision between two of their options. I placed my order and am anxious to have it delivered. more

I can only second Christian's review. My family has purchased their mattresses since 1948 and I myself have been buying from them since 1972. The quality cannot be exceeded by much higher priced brand names and the personal service is wonderful. more

Love my spring mattres! 1/21/2008

I was googling businesses in TGS for another reason and came across the first review and felt compelled to write mine (something I've done online). \r \r I bought my spring mattress here over ten years ago and still love it. The owner of the business spent a lot of time with me and wanted me to be as comfortable as possible with my selection. Delivery was within a few days and my old mattress was removed (for free) and donated. He even accompanied and supervised the delivery. \r \r If I can remember these details over a span of ten years you can understand how impressed I was with the service. more

nice bedding selection, but slow delivery 11/16/2005

This small bedding store has a nice selecition for its size. They had bed sets, mattresses, etc from some brand name companies. It was hard to compare alot of brands since they did not have a large sales floor. They were also several weeks behind in delivery. I got the impression that I was not valued and went elsewhere. I would skip this one! PROS: nice selection CONS: slow delivery, do not value customers more

  • Meyer Bedding was started by my great-great grandfather back in 1900. When I started working here in 1979, my grandfather taught me everything about the mattress business. I've done it all over the years -- whether it's building a mattress or box spring, unloading trucks, cutting and sewing materials or doing stock. Today, I primarily run the office and showroom with my mother, but I still help out in the factory when needed -- you might even see me on delivery. My grandfather always believed in doing things right so you don't have to do it over again. He never cut corners and the same applies with me.  I firmly believe in sticking with tried and tested proven components that are worthy of the Meyer Bedding label. .
