I'll preface this by saying that I have been eating at this location on and off for 2 years. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere, tolerated the service and loved the food. Recently, they changed the menus and upped the prices; OK, reasonable since the economy is bad. The problem is they also cut portions of certain ingredients in menu items to the point where the food is no longer worth the price.
Take, for example, the nachos. The point of nachos is chips and cheese; everything else is what makes the dish different. Not, unfortunately, at Mexico Lindo. They took all the cheese off the nachos (on 2 consecutive orders there was no trace of anything but sour cream).
When I brought this up, the General Manager, who claimed to be the sole owner, came over and argued the point with me, then offered to add the missing cheese- for an additional charge. I declined. He took the food then comped HALF of the price, claiming that the part of the middle that I ate was half the dish.
He was aggressive, argumentative and a liar; I would love to be able to get to the actual owners but that seems impossible as any request for that information causes him to come after you again.
Never again, even for a poker game.
Pros: Poker on Wednesdays?
