The most delicious chocolate moullex, incredible. lovely converted house, 2 floors with friendly accomodating staff. decorations pretty victorian and a warm ambience. The fireplaces are pretty but not always on, last night was 45 degrees and I thought they should've been. Rooms are very nice just the same. Food very good, fairly extensive menu - not enough pasta dishes. One big problem -- only ONE ladies bathroom and its upstairs. I asked the manager if they considered putting in another one and was told no, the property is leased and its too expensive. Given the prices they charge for dinner, and they have been open 10 years, I think a bathroom renovation is way overdue. You wait aside the upstairs dining room facing the diners if the bathroom is occupied. Overall the experience is very good.
Pros: food, ambience, fireplace
Cons: parking, restrooms, lighting
