Went to dealer to buy a new car, Very good sales people, but trying to give prices over than market price. Manager doesnt look like want to sell any cars, very rude and if you have a trade-in, he will give you pennies for it. Went to another VW in arlington and got the same care with 2 thousand less and they gave me extra 1000 on my trade-in. more

Best Service in the Metroplex 11/9/2009

Good: Service Dept. - Was advised at another dealership that my vehicle needed to be stress tested for a week to resolve a "slow leak" when even I knew it was a sensor. Taking it to Metro; they dx, identified the faulty sensor and replaced before we could go get breakfast on a Saturday morning.. Bad: Haven't had a bad experience from Sales, Parts and Service.. Other: We live by another VW Dealership and drive past 2 others to have our Beetle serviced at Metro in Irving.. more

Dishonest & Untrustworthy Dealer I've ever seen!!!!! 10/28/2009

Good: NONE. Bad: Dishonest, Untrustworthy, cheating the customers with wrong diagnosis for the problem.. Improvements: EVERYTHING!. Other: Went to the dealer to fix coolant leaking problem on my car. First time they charged 1200$ for water pump replacement which I paid, 2 weeks later coolant empty again. 2nd time went to the same dealer and paid 200$ to replace a new reservoir. This will not fix the problem too....damn...3rd time went to the dealer only to learn that the problem now is with a leaking heater cord or something, they are charging me 1000$ to get a new one. Ridiculous to keep paying for some problem several times!!!!. more

Bad Customer Servive 9/15/2009

I purchased a 2005 VW TDI Golf. All was good until dealing with routine maintenance. The did the timing belt/water pump and that's when the problems started. I would turn on A/C and push in clutch and the car would stall. Told them the car wasn't same after the replaced the timing belt and to check the timing. They had my car 5 weeks and replaced the fuel pump (which did not look new or clean) for $600 and the car had the same problem plus the cruise control no longer worked, but sweared they checked the timing. One week later the water pump failed. Took it to another machanic, and he found the timing was off. He reset it and replaced the water pump for $500 and the car works like the day I bought it. Will never deal with this shop again! more

new 09 jetta has window problem 8/10/2009

I bought an '09 Jetta recently and love the car.But the first time I went on the highway I noticed alot of vibration and the RR wheel was out of balance.I took it in and they balanced all the wheels, but then was told the vibration was from the tire pressure being 48 lbs! Come to find out the guy who was doing PDI's lied about his experience.Of course they corrected the pressure too,and they said the guy responsible no longer worked there. Now my RR window wont automatically roll up so I have to take it back for that.I'm hoping, after reading the other reviews, that I can have another dealer do the warranty work on that. These kinds of things happen everywhere, but when it happens to you I understand the frustration. more

worst customer service 3/19/2009

I love my VW car but when it comes to customer service it offers worst customer service i have ever received in my whole life.I had to call & call to just a get a replace tire .I had to drive 35 miles to get there & bwhen i get there that guy told me they dont have a tire i have to come next day.I called very next day they still dont have a tire n that guy told me to come next week just to get a tire .The only reason i went in there was i have a tire service coverage from them. Can anyone believe they took 2 weeks just to give you a spare tire. My brother was going to buy VW i did not recommend that to him just coz of customer service they provide in that service center. more

Great Cars - SoSo Service 3/21/2006

I love my VWs! I just wish I could get service that was as good as the car! The service center at Metro Volkswagen has lost my confidence. I am unfortunately stuck with them or having to drive 30 minutes to the next dealer. Where to start? Can you imagine the feeling you would get as you drive around a corner and feel the seat underneath you lift up and shift? I can tell you how I felt: SCARED! This was after having the seat heater replaced in my car. Apparently they forgot to replace a bushing that allowed the drivers seat to lift 3 inches from the floor! Fortunately I was able to get the car carefully back to the dealer without it causing an accident. I was assured by VW service that this type of incident could never happen again, but it worries me that it happened in the first place. The second incident with Metro was for an oil change on my wife's car. After driving to get new tires and to return the car home it seemed to be making quite a bit of noise and as she pulled in to park the check engine light came on. When I got home and checked her oil it didn't even register on the dipstick!! Had to call VW roadside assistance and waste my Saturday getting it towed in and having them check it for damage due to the technician FORGETTING to check the oil and make sure it was topped off!! If you have no choice or are under warranty it makes it tough to go somewhere else - I just want to warn everyone to check and make sure that everything is done right and be careful for a day or two after having Metro service your car! more
