I purchased Metro salon groupon for $99 and was trying to make an appointment. They cancelled my appointment couple of times. I went today and Hair dresser told me that she would only do my hair if I tip her $50. This is fraud and this kind of business should be closed down.Don't buy their groupon. .. more

This place is a disaster. Snooty and over priced..the stylists act like you are bothering them...paid for service I was told was going to fifty percent off they did not honor that. The people there are rude. Terrible salon DON'T Go more

Best Salon in Marlboro 10/24/2010

After my hairdresser moved to Tennessee, I was very nervous about trying someone new. I have been going to Metro for almost 5yrs now and have never been disappointed. Diane does my cut, color, and Keratin. She is the best!!! more

Good: friendly atmosphere, nice environment and professional staff. the salon is open on sundays, which is a really nice feature.. Improvements: frequent customer discounts. Other: I go to the salon for both my hair, manicures and pedicures. Lilia is exceptional manicurist and person. She does a fantastic job with LCN manicures. Fran is my stylist. She always takes the time to do a great job. Both Lilia and Fran are extremely talented and very professional. The receptionists always make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this salon!. more

Metro is the best! 10/15/2010

Being at Metro is like being with family. I have been going to the salon for over 15 years. I am there weekly and get all the services done, blow outs, cuts and color. The staff is friendly and since I am there so often I have had the opportunity to use several stylists. All are wonderful and you can't go wrong with any of them. My personal favorites are Amelia, who is my steady stylist and Jose who is my backup, Donna and Richard. You have tried the rest now try the best, come to Metro. more

disappointed hair stylist here!! worst haircut ever! 6/16/2010

ILL START OFF BY SAYING I'VE BEEN A HAIRSTYLIST FOR OVER 11 YRS.. I went into Metro for the first time yesterday for a trim and a blow out.. I specifically said a trim and specified what i meant by telling the girl no more than a half inch off of the ends of my layers.. and nothing off the length.. needles to say she hacked my hair off 5 inches!! And she didn't even dry my hair i left with a damp frizzy mess! I am completely disappointed at how unprofessional she was the he entire time. Completely overpriced!! On a good note Metro seemed to be a huge nicely decorated salon.. its just a shame that my hair is completely uneven and i wont go back to that salon if you paid me.. more

good services but pricey 4/12/2010

Good: decor, reception, accomodating, coffee served, friendly, plenty of stylists, skilled stylists, many services offered.. Bad: prices are really high end. Improvements: menu of services with a printed price schedule with a wide range for different stylists.. Other: I don't like being surprised by the price at the end. I prefer to know it up front. Also I like the prices in writing so I know the stylist is not making up one price for me and another for someone else for the same service.. more

Excellent Salon 9/8/2005

This hair salon is located right off of Route 9 in Marlboro. The decor is very nice and they have a lot of stylists there. It is pretty easy getting an appointment and they always give a great cut weather for a man or a woman. They also have a small area where they do nails. more
