I arrived at Dr.Putman's office with an appointment with one of his female colleagues. I was greeted by a not so friendly receptionist. I then sat in a waiting room and soon realized that everyone there had already been waiting over an hour for their appointments, needless to say they were very unhappy. After waiting 2 hours for my appointment I finally was seen. The doctor spoke to me for a few moments and then asked me to hold on while she checked her blackberry. She then said she must take a phone call and asked me to take my top off and put on a gown. I waited in the room for 20 minutes before I had had enough. As I was leaving the office the doctor suddenly appeared offering excuses about another patient she had and how it was another doctor's fault. She explained that she was on call after 5. This is completely understandable except that it was now 5:50 and my appointment was at 4. The way this doctor acted was extremely unprofessional and I would not refer anyone I knew here. When I asked for my copay back as I was leaving the doctor told me I was 21 and this was silly. I may be 21 but I know professionalism when I see it and this office certainly had NONE.
