I found about Dr Hong from the internet. There was a paralyzed man from Idaho who was living life with pain who wanted to end his life. His name was Rick Largent. Good: My pain is almost gone after 2 years!Other doctors did not have a clue and thought I was exaggerating or just looking for pain medications(I wasn't). Improvements: More availability for appointments. I work full time and it is hard to go in during regular hours,especially since there are multiple sessions for the nerve blocks.. more

I was in a car accident 3 years ago and went through chiropractors and physical therapy and my primary care doctor sent me here after nothing else worked. It was so hard for me to focus on work because of the neck pain and headaches. After 4 injections, (facet and steroid) , I am so much better. It's amazing how much being free from pain can make you feel so thankful! more

I had pain since car accident 10 years ago. I tried everything but nothing worked. The first two injections did not work. I got a different back injection from doctor Hong and it took away most of my pain for 15 months. Dr. Hong have the most experience but it is hard to get an appointment with him. I don't care too much for one of the receptionists who can be rude. more

Avoid this place. I have never had a worse experience at a "medical office." The only thing accomplished was my time wasted at a high cost, even with insurance. Between the less than intelligent front of office help to incompetent billing department this place scores a -7. Honesty stay away from this place. more

I was on pain medications for over 20 years. All the other doctors just gave me medications. He worked with me to find the source of pain. I don't need pain medications anymore!and I can go jogging without hurting for the first time in 20 years! more

I went here for back pain and thought the staff were very rude,condesending, and the nurses especially not friendly nor helpful in the least. They could have cared less that you were in pain at all. His office visits were too short to get anything productive done, and Dr. Hong hardly lets you speak at all. You have little time to really develop a real plan to treat you pain---he just flies by the seat of his pants so to speak. They did not help my pain and Doctor Hong only really talked about a Spinal Cord stimulator but could not tell me any risks or benefits about it, but kept pushing the surgery on me. I thought he might have been getting some kind of kick-back myself. When my pain didn't improve I tried to go to another Doctor and take my records with me-they would not let me have them without a $30 charge which I thought was totally unreasonable. They offered to fax to another Doctor but when they did they failed to fax all the records,only the last office visit. They make you pay the full $30 to get the full records. Doctor Hong seems to be just out to make money in my opinion. He seems to be doing quite well too since he has 2 offices and advertises like crazy on the internet. It is so hard to find a decent pain doctor in this state. Good luck if you choose to go to this doctor, you WILL need it! more

DO NOT visit this clinic if you are looking for an honest doctor. DR. Hyun Hong is ANYTHING but. I also question his Board Cert. My Insur. Co. Says he is not Certified. He is always rushed and leaves the majority of work and logistics to very poorly trained assis. who looked to barely be out of H.S. The OV were about 15 min each and every time I went he WALKED OUT of the room/closed the door as I was still talking to him/asking ques. Extreamly RUDE! The last straw was when I was up on the operating table and Dr. Hong walked into the room and started to perform an injection-I mumbled to him that I had had a similar procedure before. Dr. Hong right there stopped the whole procedure and said he wouldn't do the injection. The nurses yaked me off the table and yelled "we are not doing the procedure". When I asked why nobody would tell me. They put me in a room and I asked if Dr Hong was going to come in and talk to me, they said yes. HE NEVER came in and after waiting 2 hours with a level 9 pain I started getting real ticked off..come to find out he just went back to the next patient..had no intention of coming to see me what so ever. His wife works the fromt desk..poses as a nurse, and she is the one that kept telling me he was coming to talk to me-but she was NOT nice about it at all-acted like she was totally irritated with me.Come to find out he BILLED for the ENTIRE procedure anyway. Stealing?! I disputed it with my insurance company and he disputed it back even knowing that he NEVER performed any injections! THE whole staff that day were hostile, rude, totally unsympathetic to my pain level, and totally unprofessional at best. I would NEVER recommend them to any person in pain. Also, I wonder if he dilutes his drugs that he uses for surgery.(fentanyl/versed etc.)He had a very hard time sedating me on several occasions and that has never been a problem in the past. Other patients complained on the same days I was there-we all had the highest level he gave out and still were not sedated. Dr Hong = Dr. Wrong more
