A professional, friendly staff made for a good experience. The salesman and roofers were very competent, hard working, and had customer concerns at heart. The salesman was able to direct me to independent sources of information and helped me research the attributes of an aluminum roof without a lot of pressure. Roofers cleaned up after themselves and were pleasant to have around. My new roof looks great and I feel it was the most green way to go since the aluminum was from recycled cans of the U.S. and will last far longer than shingles and be rust free. Although expensive, the long term value is there. more

Both the sales presentation and the installation were done in a very professional manner. The installation crew did everything necessary to complete the job with as little inconvenience for us as possible and did an excellent job of cleaning the area at the end of each days work. more

The roof turned out beautiful. Company was great to work with. We had several extra things that needed to be taken care of and Metal Roofing Systems took care of them all. Very little mess - I think I have picked up less than a dozen metal pieces/nails. Though this is an expensive option, the look it gives and the knowing that I don't have to worry about another roof or having to rake snow after every snow storm is worth. more

We began investigating metal roofing, and quickly came across MRS's very helpful roofing guide, intended to be used by anyone weighing the options between a metal roof vs shingles. We called, they came to share their free estimate. Jeff S. and others were very knowledgeable, and if they didn't know the answer, they found out rather quickly. In order to make an informed decision of this magnitude, we checked out 3 other companies and listened to their estimates and sales pitch. They had a hard act to follow, since we started with MRS. Dana was great with follow-up, pleasant to speak with, and professional. Due to the professionalism & courtesy of MRS, we moved ahead. MRS was willing to negotiate, which won our choice. Since we had Oak trees along one side, MRS was willing to post-pone a July installation to October. The workers were also courteous, approachable, clean-spoken, and also knowledgeable. They factored in weather, and were actually done a day ahead of schedule. My wife & I are very pleased with the look of the roof, the professionalism, the caring of the company, starting at the top as well as throughout, and are eager to recommend Metal Roofing Systems to anyone considering a metal roof. These people were fantastic. Our phone calls were handeled very well. People that we were trying to reach called us within minutes of our request. The men that actually did the roof were very expertice in their labors. Friendly men that did a super job. Their boss was great. The clean up was done everyday,and it only took them 4 days on a roof that had multiple angles and difficult places. more

Metal Roofing Systems had already done the roof on my house. I had them put an aluminum roof on and it was great. I had mentioned that I had a leak in my garage and they told me they could re-roof that too. We scheduled it, which was easy to do and they came out on the day and at the time we'd planned on. I had them back out to do my garage, and they threw in a roof for my little shed for free because they had some extra roofing. It took them half a day to finish and they were very fast and did a great job. They even picked up behind themselves. Everything looks great! It all matches and looks so nice. I got everything I wanted done and at a very good price. And you can't beat the warranty, forty years! Everyone in Wisconsin knows our roofs take a beating in out weather, so it's great to have that warranty! This company is great to work with! I have already recommended them to several people. more

I have a koi pond next to house, these people tried there darnest to keep thignout of the pond. dispite wind that kept blow tarps around all the time. more

The process was an excellent one from start to finish. The team was very professional. They were extremely knowledgeable and helped us make an informed decision, even as a major problem was discovered in our home. They also had good communication skills and provided nice continuity throughout the process. The owner of the company made contact as well which gave us a sense of security with a company we did not know. The workmanship at this point appears to be well done. Since the quality of workmanship will actually be determined over time it is we are encouraged by the continued follow up provided by the company. We have been totally satisfied and will recommend this company to others as they look at replacing their roof. We enjoyed working with this team from the beginning but recently have discovered what an excellent job they do as we have worked with others that have not provided as positive experience for us. more

After numerous unreturned calls and a no-show by other contractors, I decided to go with Metal Roofing Systems (Gugger Construction) to install a metal roof. Right from the start, the customer service was pretty impressive. Mike from MRS handled almost all communications, including roof inspection and drawing up the final contract. Although his over-confidence can come off badly, it was probably justified since my questions were always answered promptly (via phone or email), nearly everything promised had been delivered and on schedule, and I felt like my business--even with a small home--was important to him. The tear-down and installment took five days, as estimated, with four roofers/installers working eight hour days. I found the installers to be extremely competent, hard-working and polite (even to me, a female customer), and was happy to see that they did a general clean-up after each day. The soffit work alone that they did around the uneven rock surfaces of my home was simply fantastic (and probably a pain to install). I inspected and photographed the work progress twice every day, and the only fix I had asked for, right after it was installed, was a replacement of a short piece of dented fascia. This was never done. I asked the installers a second time if they would replace it, and we agreed that they would try to fix it instead and see how it looks. I wasnt happy with it and asked Mike if they could please replace it, to which he agreed, but later I found they had come by and covered it up instead. Still, their final repair of the fascia looks much better than the original installation. Another complaint would be the difficulty, or perhaps just confusion, with communication; who is in charge on the roofing crew, and if I speak to one of them, will my question/concern be passed on to the lead, even if hes not there? The last thing I want to do is constantly nag or mention the same concern repeatedly when I see it hasnt yet been addressed (like the fascia). I would have preferred a communication from Mike during or near the end of installation to help solidify the process. My only other complaint would be the final clean-up, which could have been better. Still, after having been in the home construction business myself, I am very happy with the overall workmanship and professionalism delivered by MRS and wouldnt hesitate in using their business again. I believe the positives of the entire experience far outweigh the negatives. The project was on time, on budget, and I would highly recommend their services. more
