I used to be a big fan of Mervyn's when I was younger, but now I think my tastes have changed and I'm not as much of a fan. I definitely don't visit Mervyn's as much as I used to. Mervyn's is a discount department store similiar to Kohl's or Sears that sells all sorts of apparel for the entire family. I liked to buy my athletic shoes from Mervyn's because they often have good sales (Nikes for about $50). The store itself isn't the most organized or cleanest, especially if you compare it to other stores like Macy's or Nordstrom, but it's adequate. more

Clothing 4/10/2006

I recently shopped at mervyns it was on a Saturday afternoon and clothing in the mens section was unorganized. The prices were pretty decent and the clothing seemed to be of good quality. They had a large selection of jewelry at reasonable prices. The employees were very nice to me and helpful. more

MERVYN'S 4/5/2006

Mervyns is an awesome department store. You can find clothing for the whole family at decent prices. When I see an item that is not on sale I usually wait a week or so and I find it on sale. Customer service is great and they have many registers all over the store. more
