This is a great outdoor venue...too bad the neighbors complain and the County only sees dollar signs when they look at the land! Its acoustics were considered by many in the industry to be the best among outdoor venues. This place has such history...such greats as The Doors, Bob Marley & The Grateful Dead have all played. more

Great Concerts 8/19/2005

The Merriweather Post Pavilion host outdoor concerts by some of the top names in music. The amphitheater has your choice of covered pavilion seats and general admission seats as well as open-air lawn seats. This is an excellent way to hear some great music on a hot summer's night or whenever.Call for a schedule of upcoming concerts. more

Awesome place for concerts! 8/16/2005

The venue is really fun to go to. The entire venue is outdoors and half the seating is under a roof while the other half is general admission lawn seating. Since it is such a small venue and nestled in between a forest, it doesn’t really matter where your seats are. This venue gets some of the hottest bands during the summer and they put on great shows. more

needs renovation,but nice outdoor ambiance 8/4/2005

I have gone to concerts here since I was a teenager,its a great outdoor live amphitheater. But it is showing its age,especially compared to the newer stadiums. The amibiance is much nicer then the larger stadiums since its set in a tree lined area and you can easily see the stars at night compared to the downtown Baltimore area.
