The emergency and in-patient department leave little to be desired. As a patient, I was left to wait for 45 minutes awaiting a nurse to help me onto a bedpan. I was forced to urinate in my bed. The emergency department told me I had gas and sent me home only for me to be rushed back 2 hours later by ambulance with acute appendicitis. The staff insisted my daughter was fine and she was diagnosed the next day with RSV, a serious respitory condition. They also insisted she didn't have ear infections but was diagnosed the next day with double ear infections in both ears.
