Merrillwood Pediatrics

Listen to me when I tell you that 3 out of 4 in the land of pediatric groups is a boon. Dr. Wiznewski is a jerk hands down she brought me to tears in the hospital when she did not listen to my concerns regarding the nurses and what my expectations were. Granted I was a fat hormonal crazed woman but i assume this is her profession because she likes women like me :) NOT!! Now for the good/great news the other 3 are far superior to any other pediatricians we have found. We were actually forced to go to a diff pediatrician because we changed insurance but I am now back and paying more to be back. Dr. Pelz is our primary Dr. and she is amazing, very calm, reasonable and has 2 young children herself so I find her opinion to be right on point. As far as the rest of the staff they are all great, nurses, check in, check out all smoothly run and makes the kids healthy or sick smile... JUST AVOID WIZNEWSKI!!!!? more

We chose this office for my son's pediatric care, at literally the last minute, while I was being closed up from my c-section! My doctor recommended them, and one of the four doctors came out the next day to check him over. He has been going there ever since, and I couldn't be happier with the care he gets. I like that they have separate waiting rooms for sick and well patients too, I don't know if that's a normal thing, but I think it's very nice. Everyone on the staff has been wonderful everytime we've had to go in. And it's comforting to know that if I have any problems or questions, I can get a hold of a doctor at any hour. Just don't make an appointment for Monday because they're always packed on Mondays! more
