Great Makeup for Black Skintones! 1/13/2012

I have had a hard time finding the right shade for my skintone, until now. I got my brows waxed before the holidays at the Cool Springs Merle Norman (by Brandi, she is awesome!). They asked me if I wanted my makeup touched up. I have never worn much makeup because I always have problems with either the color or it looks splotchy and uneven. The girl put on a foundation called Lasting that is made to last all day for oily skin types. Then she set it with a matte powder (my color is Ultra Tan). It feels light, and makes my skin look smooth and even. Love it! I found the prices are better than department store makeup counters, too. You gotta try the lip gloss in the color Foxy, too. more

Great place to get Ear's Pierced! 9/19/2011

My daughter, 8, had her ears pierced there yesterday. The lady (dark hair, Millie?) was so calm and reassuring, and did a great job. After, she put lip gloss on her, then freshened up my face with their mineral makeup. I loved it, but waited to make sure it would look good throughout the day. I couldn't wait to go back today to purchase it! All the staff there are very nice and professional. more

This place is AMAZING! 9/14/2011

Going to this spa is like walking into heaven for me. Awesome friendly knowledgeable staff, clean and comfortable...and you can get your make up too, all in one stop! Brandi is the best, her facials leave me feeling so relaxed and my skin looks amazing. She really knows her products and I love everything she recommends. I went in last week, with the boyfriend in tow, to get my eyebrows waxed and she had me in and out looking beautiful. She even convinced my boyfriend to get his waxed (thank you Brandi), he is looking great too! more

Great Place for Men too! 9/6/2011

I went in looking for a mani/pedi and a new hairstyle, and I've never looked better! I'm an outdoorsy type with an office job. My hands & nails were pretty rough after a weekend working outside, definitely not ready for my scheduled director meetings, until Ann made them look immaculate. My hair stylist Wendy is terrific too, we picked a trendy style out of a book and she nailed it. Needless to say this ain't no SportsClips. Wendy and Ann made me look alot younger and better, everyone loved it! Way to go Merle Norman Spring Hill!! more

Most Knowlegable about skincare & product ingredients. Very sweet, helpful and caring employees. 9/23/2006

I love to go into this shop. Everyone is always so pleasant. I went in late afternoon on a Saturday a couple weeks ago. The owner was still there. She did a makeover on me, (wow!) and a couple other customers were there, and we all started talking. We had a great time getting to know each other. No one seemed to care that we kept them an hour after closing. We were all laughing and having a good time. It was a great experience. I have had more compliments in the past 2 weeks (on my skin, makeup, age...) than I have had the past 5 years! The owner's daughter is also very sweet, and does miracles with your eyes! Pros: Upscale skincare and cosmetics priced better than department store counters. Cons: Parking there is limited at times. more
