Merit Computer Svc

I am a director in a large company and have little patience for so-called ?geeks? who do not return phone calls, smell bad, and cannot speak an intelligent sentence. I was pleasantly surprised when Merit Computer Service came to my home to solve my computing problems. I was ready to just buy a new laptop because two other people had worked on this one and not really made any difference. Doug had my PC for 2 days and brought it back running better than it ever has before. He also identified a problem with my wireless network, and now I have a reliable wireless network all over my house and even on my pool patio outside. When I learned that he had worked as a planner in a Bellsouth data center, I hired him for an extra hour to review a business proposal for my department that I had some questions about. He explained it better in one hour than my IT and Business Analyst people have in a week. I never expected someone working on home office computing to know about HP SuperDomes and EMC storage. more

I work in IT at a large bank but could not fix my computer - at least not without spending many hours on it. I called Merit Computer Services because my neighbor used to work with the owner, Doug Huddle, at BellSouth. This guy is the best. I wish our desktop support at the bank was this good. I could not believe how little he charged (<$100) for such extyensive work so I gave him a tip. My wife spends more than this on her hair every month. more
