I think Stephens Service Center is the BEST place i've ever taken my Mercedes!! They were very helpful and went into great detail about what was wrong with my car and how to fix it. Tom the owner was very helpful and explained everything to me. They got me in right away and fixed it fast. I will never go to another auto shop to fix my car!!!! more

The best choice for your Mercedes! 12/8/2011

I brought my S550 in for an oil change and was so glad I did. Was educated on how important it is to service the other important items like the transmission that the dealer never told me about. During the trans service I readily agreed to, they showed me all the debris on the magnets in the pan; changing the filter and a complete flush was the cure it needed. My car has never ( other than when it was new) shifted better. A must visit for those who truly care about the quality and longevity of their Mercedes!! more

The right choice! 12/2/2011

I have been a customer of Tom Stephens since he was the Service Manager at Von Housen Mercedes-Benz over 20 years ago. He has taken care of 4 Mercedes that I have owned over those years. The ""Avoid"" review couldn't be further from what I've seen. more

  • Vehicles built over the last 10 years are much more complicated then they ever were in the past. It's imperative for the technician really understand how modern computer systems work. The simplest things don't work like they did in the past. Car repairs frustrate most people because it's complicated and difficult to understand. Most people just want to trust someone and not be deceived. They think that someone must be looking out for the consumer and a major car company wouldn't let this happen. Right! Here is the short version of what every car needs to be maintained in the most cost effective way. It doesn't really matter what year or model you own, the same basic things need to be done to each model. A few models have special systems that need additional service, but those exceptions and are dealt with on a case by case basis.
