I love Mentor Headlands, my son and I come up from Akron every summer with some friends. It's a beautiful beach and my son enjoys himself very much. My only issue is the walk to the beach. I would love for my son's Grandparents to come, but the walk in the sand it to long and to hard for them. I think that a boardwalk for the elderly and disabled would be an extra bonus and it would ideal so that EVERYONE can enjoy the beach. Pros: It's gorgeous, clean and free! Cons: Needs a boardwalk in order for disabled and seniors more

great spot 7/2/2002

We stopped one day during our family vacation and were pleasantly surprised. The beach was beautiful and great for families! I would recommend it to anyone! Pros: spacious, free, lifegaurds more
