BAD! HORRIBLE! UNBEARABLE! **WARNING** DO NOT GO HERE ** let me first say that I have been to other mens wearhouses, and they have been alright. This place in particular is filled with employee's who simply don't give a flying F about you or your wedding. I read the reviews and decided well maybe just the ""arrogant"" people aren't impressed with service etc. well let me say im not picky nor do i write review much but this is well worth the time im spending to avoid someone else the hassle of not dealing with them. I go in and get ignored, I go upto the girl at the desk, interrupt her personal phone call on a company phone mind you to ask whom do i speak with regarding setting up tuxedo rentals for my wedding. She points me to Jose. He seems alright and doesn't offer much of any help until he learns my fiancee is Mexican. Hint of advice, speak spanish and you will get better service. So we start out with the whole, no you cannot try on any tuxedos for rental. HINT OF ADVICE: from the moment you walk in, say that you are looking to buy one. They have all the tuxedos there, they just wont let you try them on unless your considering buying one. So after you find the one you like, then tell them you are looking to setup a rental party for your event. Otherwise they wont let you try them on. So we setup our wedding party of 11 men; 2 hours later, were done and leave with a group number. Then the problem starts; my first groomsman shows up a week later at the burbank mens warehouse and is told he cant get fitted, he's not on the list. Needless to say he calls me and I told him wait there ill look into it and fix it. First I take my group number and login to the website. Sure enough only I am listed. As im doing this, my fiancee calls the Santa Monica Mens wearhouse to explain the problem. HERES THE REAL PROBLEM: KYLE ""IM BUSY WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS AND I CANNOT HELP YOU RIGHT NOW"" He didn't offer to call her back or even allow her to fully explain the issue. I was doing to computer thing when she walked over and told me what happened. So i figured, okay this is a sexist world as much as we dont want to admit so ill try calling and see them tell me that, yeah. So i pick up the phone and call looking for KYLE. So guess who answers, yup KYLE; I say Kyle ""look I have a problem, I have a groomsman waiting at a mens wearhouse in burbank that needs to get fitted and pay, can you add him"" KYLE says ""I just spoke with your Fiancee, I told her im with a customer right now and cant help you"" So i ask myself then why is he answering the phone then?? So anyways, im loosing my cool after he says that and I say "" so your saying that you cant help me even though I already spent 2 hours there getting my wedding party setup, I got a guy waiting in burbank and you wont help me or find someone else to help me?"" He says there is nothing he can do and that he could ""Possibly"" call me back later when he/they weren't busy. ""I told KYLE so this is what im gonna, im gonna leave my house, drive down there to the store and come see you, will you be busy then!?"" He said yeah sure.... Needless to say I got in my car and headed over there. When I got there, KYLE (105 skinny white guy) goes and esentially hides as he hears me shout accross the store where's KYLE, so the girl at the counter can tell im clearly bothered and asks if she can help me. Moral of the story here is my groomsman waitied for 1 1/2 hours before leaving because turns out JOSE didn't enter any of this in the system and we had to spend another 30 minutes while this happened. So I want everyone to know that i am a real person who had their wedding experience crapped on by 10 dollar an hour employee's who dont care about their job. I remember i asked when I got in there about the negative reviews and they claimed an angry ex employee wrote those other negative reviews. shortening my review.... horrible place
