Nice environment 9/2/2010

We really enjoyed their menu which included locally and organic produce. Though it was a little pricey, we thorough enjoyed it, especially the pasta salad that came with our hamburgers and sandwiches. The patio was very relaxing with flowers blooming everywhere. more

Mendocino Cafe 3/30/2008

We love the Medocino Cafe and eat there every time we're up for a visit. The food is varied and fresh with a great focus on local, organic, and sustainable. Very comfortable atmosphere and a nice range of prices. All around a great restaurant. more

Did I get them on an off day? 10/23/2005

The cafe was busy on a regular week day lunch time. However, I think it gave us the false impression that we had chosen a good place to eat. The rice and black beans came with the fish taco was cold (not even luke warm). The pasta with white clams was watery, and the pasta tasted it was cooked the night before. The prices were not cheap either. We spent over $40 for a very bad lunch. Cons: Bad food, High prices more

  • Founded in 1987, Mendocino Caf is a restaurant that offers garden and ocean view dining options. Located in Mendocino, Calif., its menu includes appetizers, desserts, salads, soups, sandwiches, entrees and seafood items. The restaurant provides grilled chicken breast, steak sandwich, garlic bread, onion rings, fish melt, beef brisket, French dip, french fries, shrimp scampi, cheese nachos, stuffed mushrooms, French onion soup, meatballs and mozzarella cheese. It additionally offers filet mignon, beef kebobs, New York sirloin, crab cakes, broiled haddocks, seared sea scallops, chicken marsala, roast turkey, rice pilaf, saut ed shallots and seared tuna. Mendocino Caf s wine list includes chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, riesling, pinot grigio, zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, merlot and shiraz.
