Mendham Apothecary is so much more than your local pharmacy. First of all, the store itself is huge for an independent pharmacy, similar to your chain stores. It has the staples that you expect to find at a pharmacy, such as over-the-counter medicines and items like toothpaste and shampoo. There is also the pharmacy counter, which fills your prescription with speed, accuracy, and a friendly smile. But there are also toys, greeting cards, gift wrap, candles, and their very own little chocolate store. However, my favorite part of the Apothecary is what I like to call 'the gift shop'. They have so many unique seasonal and local items that are perfect for giving gifts, either to friends or even yourself! I often find it very hard to pick up a prescription without picking up a little present for myself :) And it's not as expensive as you would think for a pharmacy in Mendham that offers so many things.
