The manufacturer of an appliance that we purchased at Menard's in Naperville agreed to give us a full refund for a product that was out of warranty because the product was so poorly designed that it never worked (and couldn't work) properly and it also failed completely. It's a long story but a perfectly clear arrangement was made between us and the manufacturer so that I would receive a full refund when I returned the item to Menard's. The manufacturer called me the day before and told me to see Amber at the Naperville store, who is apparently a manager. The paperwork was all complete and the approval was made for the refund. Amber and another supervisor will filled in on all the details and authorized to give us a full refund.
