Memories Galore

This is a pretty good scrapbooking store. They have one of the largest selections of scrapbooking supplies in the state of VA. They also hold classes on scrapbooking. The store itself is not particularly inviting but the owners/employees are very nice and helpful. I have visited this place many times and go to find things I can't get at the smaller places. more

The West End Memories Galore offers a scrapping area with tables and chairs in the back. You can come in anytime and scrap. They offer scrap and shop times on Friday nights and they do charge a fee for that. They offer a variety of classes. They do not have the selection that the Hull Street store has but there is still alot to buy here. The kids area is a plus for parents of preschoolers. more

This store also has many of the same great qualities as it's sister store on the Southside: friendly, helpful staff, better supply than mass merchandisers, offers classes and discounts. The one thing lacking is the size. Due to it's much smaller area they cannot carry as much in this location, though their supply is still great. The one thing I absolutely love about this store and allows me to stay and shop happily for as long ad I wish, is they have an enclosed area with toys for toddlers that can be seen from almost any angle. My toddler actually cried because he didn't want to leave, and that's in any store that doesn't have a backwards "R" in the name! There is a negative to that: the area is much closer to the entrance than the aisles are, and as unlikely as it is to happen, someone could have your child in their car before you get to the door. I would feel more comfortable if it was towards the back of the store with the scrapping tables. more
