have to say, I am NOT much of a shopper. In fact, I'd rather go to the dentist than go shopping, especially for a dress. However, I would go back to Memories (and look forward to it) in a heartbeat! The staff was incredible. I went in with a photo of an idea of what I was looking for, and they were able to just bring me dresses while I tried them on. Now that's my kind of shopping! They also had an incredible selection of designers. In that weekend (an off season weekend in October), I drove from Kalamazoo, to Grand Rapids, to Lansing, to St. Joe, to Stevensville- and NOBODY had the selection like Memories. The quality, service and fit were exceptional. This store is affiliated with 6000 other tuxedo dealers around the country so fitting my out of town attendants was a breeze. This store really cares about their customers. Pros: quality, selection, and fit outstanding more

I recently rented tuxedos for my wedding and had several issues with Memories Bridal. First off, the quality control of the suits they offer is very poor. We had three pairs of pants (all the same measurements) that fit three different ways. Only one actually fit well. When I asked about this the response I was given was that they are rentals and that's just how it is. Now I understand that this store may make most of it's money selling dresses, but how can you run a business without standing behind the quality of your product? more

I recently went to Memories to look for a wedding gown. My mother and sister and I had been to several bridal shops in Michigan - we even went to Chicago. I had seen one dress that I liked but I didn't like the shop. Memories was perfect!!!! One of the consultants, Stephanie, helped us find my perfect gown. She was awesome and we love her!!! She was helpful and friendly and listened to what I was looking for in a gown and we found it right away. The moment I put it on I knew it was the one! I knew that she and the rest of the staff would take great care of me and they have. If you are looking for a dress, just head on down to Memories and you are guaranteed to have a wonderful experience with wonderful, friendly people who really know what they are doing. I get terribly upset when people say dumb things on here like they made me buy my dress was 20 sizes too big, think about it did they hold a gun to your head? I bought my 2nd wedding dress from Memories and it was beautiful, I was just browsing on here and saw that and wanted to put my 2 sense in, we had a sizing issue and we handled it together and were grateful for Memories Bridal and Eveningwear, the staff does care and I would reccommend anyone to shop there. I hope that you give them a chance they deserve it and so do you! Pros: Great staff, great selection of dresses, diverse sizing Cons: had to drive (but it was worth it) more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE! To say it's been an awful experience is an understatement. The staff there was not helpful at all and MADE us purchase dresses about 20 sizes too big, despite our efforts to explain that we needed smaller sizes. The fact that our dress size was not an option says a lot right there. Most shops suggest a size based on your measurements and are fairly accurate. Then they send the dress to the wrong address leaving us less time to get the MAJOR and EXPENSIVE alterations needed. This place should be closed down. I do not recommend this to anyone for anything!! Pros: NOTHING Cons: EVERYTHING more
