The worst of the worst 7/27/2011

I went today to the demetery to take dome plastic flowers to the plot where my mother , my father , and my brother are buried , bedides my aunt in another part and was vey surprised to see the condition of the place , first there were no vases (they have been stolen) the plaques were totally dirty an some were damaged . I dont live in Miami but in reading what other people have found too I will suggest to get enough people that have relatives there to go to an attorney and get a class action suit going ,SCI will then listen and will repair the place or will be liable for a lot of money . Here is my e-mail :rolandogruart@yahoo can not go with the end of the email but really lets do something in memory of our relatives that are buried there lets do something about the lost members of our family that are buried there more

Flagler Memorial Park - The worst kept cemetery. 2/3/2011

I went to this cemetery by December 2010. I found that all the flower vases are gone. There weeds covering most of the marble markers. Garbage, debris, plastic cups, papers are all over the areas. This cemetery looks abandoned. I am starting conversations with an office at Tallahasee to make an investigation on this cemetery and the company who owns it (SCI). If the person that is reading this review has any concern about this cemetery and the maintenance of this place, I suggest to do the same as me. I have some relatives buried there and I think this is not the right way of handle my beloved ones. VERY DISRESPECTFUL, VERY SAD, ABANDONED. I was told at the office to call a headquarter at Houston and I will. \r Someone will have to do something. more

Flagler Memorial should be taken over by someone else 11/11/2010

This is the worst cemetery I have ever seen! It is a shame how the tombs are kept. There is grass covering most of the tombs, there aren't any vases, it seems as if this cemetery has been abandoned. It is a disrespect for the living and for the dead as well. more

Flagler Memorial Park (abandoned, disrespectful) 10/25/2010

These people have no respect for the visitors of the cemetery. Headstones are broken field employees laugh at us when we asked for a flower vase. We asked for the manager (Carlos Prince) and after a wait of 15 minutes he let us in to his office. After explaining the situation to him, he replied that the cemetery has no noney to fix the situation and that we can go to the police, to the news or to anywhere but that he was not going to replace the vase for us. Weeds and garbage is everywhere. On 09/10/10 we went again to the place and everything was worst. Field employees seem not to care for the deceased (smiling, chatting and using cell phones during burials). When we asked for a supervisor to one of them he just laugh and instructed us to go to the office. This place looks like a dumping site. Please do not bury your relative in that shithole. more
