This museum has a good, solid collection for a museum in a smaller city.
It is a beautiful building that hosts openings with a variety of rooms, some modern, some classic. There are a wide array of painting and sculpture styles exhibited, done by authors from all over the world.
There are also some wonderful temporary exhibits at this museum, including edgier ones you'd expect from a place like New York City. I went to an opening for a paper art sculpture, where the artists provided instructions on the paper to be done to their specifications; the museum provided the tools to cut the paper and form it into the sculptures, allowing us as community members to become the artists' hands.
