Melville was the last place we hit, and I'm sure glad we did. The care they put into their vines and wines is so apparent once you take one sip. The Pinots are some of the best I've had since leaving Oregon; the Syrah is equally amazing. The unoaked Chardonnay was stellar, too bad they sold out. That's what you get when you have small yields--incredible, albeit few, wines. The tasting room is beautiful, too, and the staff often consists of the wine makers themselves.
Pros: amazing pinot
