The Melting Pot isn't your usual restaurant, so if you're looking for a steak and potatoes, keep moving. However, if you enjoy savoring flavor pairings with a good bottle of wine, you've hit the jackpot. My wife and I have visited this Melting Pot on several occasions and have found that the way to go is to order a cheese fondue and dessert. The meat fondues are delicious, but there's no comparison in quality/taste of the dessert. If you like gorgonzola, order the Wisconsin trio cheese fondue (heavenly) and ask your waiter for a suggestion on dessert. We had a dark chocolate fondue with amaretto swirled in, and it was unbelievable. Don't be in a hurry, don't expect a bargain, and do make reservations!
