Went to dinner last night. While waiting to meet my wife I thought I would have a glass of wine. Waited in the bar for 15 minutes - NO BARTENDER (Apparently the manager doubles as the bartender and he was in the back fixing a computer). Wife arrived - seated promptly at our reservation time (no surprise since we were seated at one of the two tables in the place that were occupied). Waited and waited for our server to show up - 15 minutes later I went back to the hostess to inquire ""what was our waiter's name again, and have you seen him?"" She went back in the kitchen to search and a few minutes later out walked a young man. ""Hello, I'm _________, I am not your waiter, but can I answer any questions or get you something to drink? It was nice to see someone take responsibility - the only bright spot. Finally, our waiter showed up (about 20 minutes into the night) - he was nice enough but no apology whatsoever (what is it with this generation? - they have no concept of manners). Serviced improved slightly from there, but then we had a chance to experience the food. It was, at best, marginal. We did have a nice bottle of wine (they do have a good selection) which at $50 for this particular varietal and brand wasn't a terrible buy, but the bill came to $179 including tip. This is way too much for the mediocre food and poor service. frankly, if you want good fondue go to Dante's in Buckhead - there you will get great jazz to accompany a better service and food experience.
