Wow! What an experience! 6/4/2005

What a unique restaurant. I took some of out of town business associates to The Melting Pot last week. I thought it would be something different instead of going to the usual steakhouse. We sat at this great private table in its own room, that could seat all 10 of us easily. Service was incredible! Best I have had in Austin. And the wine list was huge and low priced. Very Romantic 6/3/2005

Our favorite restaurant for ""date night"". The servers and managers are very attentive and the food is great. But it's the atmosphere that is the best. We can have a quiet and relaxed night out and have wonderful food and wine, too. Pros: Ample parking, Service is great, Don't feel rushed more

WE HAD A PARTY AT THE MELTING POT AND HAD A GREAT TIME... THEIR EVENT COORDINATOR WORKED WITH US TO SET UP A VERY SPECAIL EVENING AND ALL OF OUR FRIENDS LOVED IT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LARGE GROUPS. THEY SAID THEY EVEN OPEN FOR LUNCH ESPECIALLY FOR LARGE PARTIES. THAT WOULD BE SO GREAT TO HAVE THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT TO YOURSELF. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. i'd just go for cheese and chocolate. the food is pretty good. the drinks are great but pricey. the management leaves a lot to be desired. Pros: wine list, service, group events more
