Mel's Auto Clinic quoted the job for Rack & Pinion Steering Gear replacement on my daughter's vehicle. Quote included labor and parts. Then they required us to pay extra for a front end alignment or would not give us our vehicle. You cannot do a Rack & Pinion job without doing a front end alignment-- it should be included in the quote. They took three days to do the job when they said they would have it done in one day.
