Delicious "Fettuccine Ferrari" but Terrible "Gnocchi Bolognese" 8/15/2009

We ate here for the first time last night and although all four of pondered ordering pizza, we ordered pasta dishes instead. The only fail was their "Gnocchi Bolognese". I'm a huge gnocchi-lover and this was probably the worst gnocchi I've ever had; it was rubbery and chewy like a big wad of potato-flavored bubblegum...ugh. I decided to get their "Fettuccine Ferrari" instead, which was egg fettuccine topped with a veal/chicken/pork sauce...mmm...DELICIOUS!!! Service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and I would definitely order the Fettuccine Ferrari again! more

Try the Fettuccine Ferrari (but forget the Gnocchi)! 8/14/2009

Great service, trendy decor for a pizza/pasta place, so-so bread, super-delicious Fettuccine Ferrari...but please, don't ever order their Gnocchi Bolognese. If you try Gnocchi for the first time here, you're never going to want to eat it again. If you've had (good) Gnocchi before, you won't be able to eat more than one bite of Melo's Gnocchi. Melo's Pizza & Pasta is yummy! 8/13/2009

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I had never been before, and hadn't heard one way or the other. The waitress was very attentive to me and my young daughter. Refills were brought without having to ask. The pizza, hands down, some of the best. Def. would go back and recommend. A little pricey, but worth it for the left overs alone. more

this is the best place to for pizza and Italian food!!! I have tried so many things on the menu and love all of them. They always give my kids a piece of dough to play which is very nice. My son loves their spaghetti and meat sauce with a meatball. The meatball is huge!!! more

Great food/atmosphere 10/8/2008

This is great place to bring the family or for a date night. The atmosphere is great and the food is really good. I have had their pastas, salads, and their pizzas. I always have more that enough so I can take it home for lunch the next day. I would highly recommend Melo's more

Pizza good but pricey 9/29/2008

We are all for trying out new restaurants. But I'm not sure if Melo's is worth the price you pay. The location, ambience and plasma TV's on the wall were all great. The service was okay but we let slide considering the employees were still new. But after seeing the price for the pizza, it seemed a bit overpriced for the quality of pizza. I'm a major pizza fan and there are so many other choices in pizza parlors to choose from. This place is good to try out but not sure if I'd go back. more
