Worst

The pizza is overpriced and the service is horrible. The servers are just a little too ""Mellow"" if you know what I mean. The place definitely did not live up to it reputation.

Good food, but not so great service. The salads and calzones are great, but the servers pay a lot of attention to each other, instead of to the customers. Would still recommend if you're not in a hurry. Pros: food Cons: rude servers more

Pizza from Heaven! 1/2/2003

Mellow Mushroom has the BEST pizza I have EVER tasted. I visited Asheville last summer and MM was one of the restaurants we went to. The wait was a bit long, but the pizza was sooo worth it! It was even good enough to eat cold for breakfast the next morning. The White Pizza is a gift from God, but they are all EXCELLENT!!! Everyone should go there at least once in their life. more

Awesome Calzones 10/10/2002

Went to the location at the corner of Peace and Glenwood and loved it. That is no doubt the best patio in the Triangle. Has to be the first putting green I have ever seen at a restaurant. Some of my friends had the pizza and I have not had any better in town, but the calzones were awesome. Great beer selection, killer food and great service. The pizza is good but the location on the corner of Peace and Gleenwood is very busy. Can be noisy. Third Place or Lilly's Pizza is a quieter location. Pros: food Cons: location, noise more

The Mellow Mushrrom is a great place to go and hang out with friends. They frequently have bands there and that is great. They also cater to vegitarians and vegans. more

Whether its' the Gourmet White or the Funky Chicken, you can count on quick service and great tasting variety in pizza. And even better, you can take the kids (especially the small ones) and order them individual slices of what they want. Looking forward to trying the new location in Raleigh. Best Pizza in Chapel Hill 6/13/2002

I have been a long time fan of Peppers Pizza and pretty loyal until I discovered the pizza at the Mellow Mushroom. Great veggie pizza. I give it 2 thumbs up! more
