Mellow Mushroom

From the moment I walked into The Mellow Mushroom I was greeted with a warm Georgia hello and instantly the nostalgia of the space warped me to my home town in Oregon where pizza is served over wood tables and pints of local micro beer flow plentifully. I loved the Grateful Dead references throughout as well. The manager, bartender, and wait staff were quick to help us ""out-of-towners"" find the best attractions Atlanta had to offer and give us time out of their busy shifts. Now on to the food: I was BLOWN away at the freshness and quality of every item that crossed my plate. I ended up eating at The Mellow Mushroom 4 times that week! This Mellow Mushroom (MM) location is decent which is why they score 3/5 for me but the deal is the wait staff is awful. The product is the same as any other MM but this particular location takes the idea of lazy stoner straight to it's wait staffs head. Slow service, not very attentive, but I will give them friendly, they are all walking around with smiles on their faces. Suppose my standards have gotten a little above what you can expect out of your typical college wait staff but they can expect their tips to reflect their effort thats for sure.
