Pleasant View Melinas---The best Mexican Food I've ever eaten! 10/16/2007

Out of all of the mexican restaurants that I've eaten at, in the entire country, Melina's is the best!! We love the Pleasant View Melina's the best. Service is always awesome, in fact, we go so often (once a week or two) the owners and servers know us by name. We always eat the fajitas. They have really good flavor and aren't too spicy. We love the atmosphere too... but most of all the food. The fresh flour tortillas are to die for! As are the chips and fresh salsa! Yummy, yummy... Even though it was only 3 days ago that we ate there last, now I'm thinking about it again! Pros: Fantastic, flavorful food; Service; Ambience Cons: Can't think of any... more

BAD BAD SERVICE 9/7/2007

I USE TO LOVE MELINA'S UNTIL THE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THE I DON'T GIVE A CARE ATTITUDE WE RECEIVED IN LAYTON. MY FAMILY USE TO GO THERE AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH AND AFTER WE RECEIVED THE POOR SERVICE, COLD FOOD WE HAVE NOT BEEN BACK. EVEN THE MANAGER DID NOT CARE THAT WE HAD TO GET UP AND REFILL OUR DRINKS AND FIND OUR OWN SILVERWARE. WE HAD TO GET UP AND GO TO THE KITCHEN BECAUSE WE WAITED 35 MINUTES FOR MY HUSBANDS FOOD WITH NO SIGHT OF THE WAITER. THE OTHER WAITRESSES AND WATIERS WOULD SAY THEY WILL HELP US BUT THEN WE NEVER SAW THEM EITHER. SO I GUESS WE WILL FIND ANOTHER MEXICAN RESTERAUNT THAT WOULD LIKE OUR SERVICE SO LONG MELINA'S more
