Dr. Dartz has taken care of my snake and lizards for many years. When my snake was listless and would not eat, she determined the cause. She has snakes, lizards, and a land turtle in special enclosures at home along with her cats, and peacocks. She is very knowledgeable in all exotic pets and birds. I highly recommend Dr. Dartz for all your pet needs. She is upbeat and really loves animals. more

Great Staff, Fantastic Doctor! They take excellent care of my cats, and our son's geckos and snake! This is the only place around that knows anythng about exotic animal care. more

Dr. Dartz has cared for my 6 cats and 2 dogs plus puppies over the years, I have had nothing but excellent care for all my pets and would not consider going elswhere. Dr. Carol Dartz is a caring, friendly and very knowledgeable veterinarian She helped my cat, Joey, thru gastritis.She prescribed medication and told us how to feed him.Joey shows no more symptoms.The staff is curetous,friendly and efficent. The hospital is AAHA approved and caters to exotic animals and birds. more

Had a beloved dog for 16 years, now have five cats. They have received nothing but top notch care from everyone involved at Arbor View: receptionists, technicians, aides, kennel staff, and of course the docs. All are knowledgeable, caring, and professional servants. They also care about you, the owner(s). more

Our parakeets did not tolerate well our relocation from Vermont earlier this year. Being new to the area, we accepted our new neighbor?s referral of Arbor View. \r Arbor View was very accommodating; an appointment was made for that very evening. The staff is so friendly and the care and service was wonderful! Our birds are well and healthy thanks to their help and concern. Our dog and cats have all had check-ups and shots, and our new kitten has been chipped and spayed.\r Considering all the pressure we were under, moving our family of six plus 5 pets, I was unable to compare and research Vets as I would have under other circumstances. I find myself here, at this site, looking up Arbor View?s Phone #, and I cannot believe some of these comments. I want others to know my experience.\r To those who may have had bad experiences, or who lost your beloved pets, I?m sorry. more

We took our little toy fox terrier into Arbor View so they could put a microchip in her in case she got lost. Somehow they managed to jam the microchip THROUGH the little dog's spine and paralyze her (later both the microchip company and the neurosurgeons told us they had never seen anything so incompetent done with a microchip). Arbor View stubbornly refused to see any problem with the dog until my wife demanded an X-Ray. Arbor View then saw their mistake and sent us off to Purdue University for a 3 hour surgery (for which they paid, after begging us not to sue them). The dog survived and can even walk-hop now, but a couple of months after the surgery, something was wrong and the dog was in agony. We went to Purdue again and Arbor View refused to pay. They talked us out of suing them in the first place, but now I wish we had. I encourage you NOT to take any animals you like to Arbor View. We have 5 dogs and have been extremely satisfied with Arbor View. We have had to run there without appointments, have had to have emergency c-sections, you name it, we have been there. The vets as well as the tech, the aides and the office personal are loving, professional, and very knowledgable in their field. I am so grateful for everyone at Arbor View. Krystal no longer works there. The Hospital offers and/or requires testing prior to sedation so your animal does not suffer from complications while under, generally more tests are required with greater age. more

We had 3 animals: 2 cats, 1 dog up until the summer of 2006 and when the time came to make a responsible decision regarding the fate of our 14-yr-old cat, Prince, we were very appreciative of the professional, humane and gentle service provided when they euthanized our dear friend. Since then we have been extremely satisfied with the care and treatment of our other remaining pets and are grateful to the staff for their 'above and beyond' service to our animals. When you are a steward of an animal's welfare, you must accept the financial obligation to take care of them in the long run. They pay it forward 100-fold!!! more

This place was horrible, they overcharged me, they ran tests that did not need to be run just to do a dental cleaning, the vet techs are rude and are not trained, especially the one named krystal, she smelled like alchohol more
