Horrible!!! I brought my wife's car this past weekend for an oil change,tore rotation and to plug a tire that had a nail in it...discovered last night that they did a horrible job fixing the tire...it was down 10 pounds in a day..and imagine my surprise when I went to fill the tire and realized that it hadn't been rotated!! Even though I was charged for both...so now I'm questioning if they even changed the damn oil!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! Unless you enjoy being ripped off and jerked around!! more

Great place, I was shopping around on the phone and they said they were currently running a 50% off brake special. They saved my rotors and now I have a lifetime warranty for less then everywhere I called. more

I was very happy with how clean this place was and how friendly the staff is. I found a coupon in the clipper and got my oil changed for under $15! more

AWESOME!!!!! I went in for a simple oil change and the gentlemen tells me I need brakes. I was a bit skeptical but he took me out to my van and showed me the brakes, I could clearly see there was nothing left to them. I was still skeptical when they told me the price so I said I had to call my husband and went outside. I called Kost, Jack Williams and Midas for a comparison and they were all at least $70 higher and did not include a lifetime warranty as Meineke does. 40 minutes later I was back on the road with a good deal for brakes and an oil change!!! more

I saw an oil change on Pocono Record's website for $9.99. It took about a half hour and was a great deal. Will definitely return!! more

They took the car apart then they called and said they quoted the wrong price. They tried to double the price from $600.00 to $1200.00. After arguing back and forth, we agreed on $800.00 with an additional replacement of the motor mounts included. I was satisfied with that arrangement. Then Meineke decided it was to much work and did not do the motor mounts. 2 weeks later I have a leak so I called them, the manager said he would tow the car in and take of it. Once their he called me and told me that now the Slave Cylinder is not good because they had replaced the clutch with a heavy duty one. They quoted a price of $240.00 for a new slave cylinder and labor for $99.00. He then told me that he knew he should of changed it from the beginning but didn't want to. By not replacing it with a new one and then re-installing it improperly with the old part, it caused the part to break. I decided to take the car home. I took the slave cylinder out and found that it was all apart, my drive axles were also loose and missing lock washers. When I asked the manager why, he blamed me because I changed the tires. This is very Lousy Customer Service. I called Corporate but I have had no response. I left 3 messages. more

These guys should be sued. The first time I brought my car there for tires they broke my tire pressure monitor. Then made me pay for it and it never worked. The second time I brought it , I left with an exhaust leak i did not have when i brought it in. The third time, by the time i got home the engine was misfiring and the check engine light came on. Upon further inspection found the spark plug tube where the plug boot goes was filled all the way to the top with used motor oil. I will see what course of action I can take against these guys. more

RIPOFF. They changed the oil on one of my daughters cars and sent it out 1 and a half quarts low on oil. Good thing I checked it before she left to go back to school. Ripped us off for the price of the oil change. Called to cry about it and got an arrogant piece of trash from NY on the other end of the phone. Go back to Ny you rippoffs Your place is not even worth urinating in. more

DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO MEINKE IN STROUDSBURG PA. THEY LYE AND TELL YOU YOUR CAR HAVE ALL TYPES OF PROBLEMS. WHEN YOU GO TO THE DEALER AND THEY CHECK YOUR CAR THROUGHLY, THEY DON'T FIND ANY OF THE PROBLEMS MEINKE CLAIMS. THEY SHOULD GO TO JAIL FOR ROBBING PEOPLE. THEY CLAIM TO DO REPAIRS THAT NEVER EXISTED? more

Meineke mechanics and management provides the quintessential example of why mechanics are often viewed as dishonest and manipulators. I went in with a coupon to save a little money on an oil change--all I wanted was a simple 15 dollar oil change. After waiting for well over an hour, the sales associate called me back into the garage to "go over some stuff" about my car. I got the usual dirty air filter attempt at gouging me for money which I am used to...but also got 90% false quotes for all kinds of stuff desperately wrong with my car (totaling almost $1,000) (car was inspected 2 months ago and is relatively new). Even trying to say I needed new spark plugs because someone "wrongly replaced them" when I got the car straight from the manufacturer. I am a young girl and I feel they were trying to take complete advantage of me. I smiled at their pretty blatant attempts to rip me off, stated I just wanted the oil change, and told them something they wanted to here in order to avoid more

One of toms first words to me was "" Do not listen to the n***** right there"" Lets just start off with that. I got fired from this Meineke because I asked about my pay and a racist comment that Tom Gauta ( the bigger white guy thats there) said. I never filled out a W2 or I9 and i got fired over it just for asking about it because he told me he was the law and over time was 51 hours not 40.. Now when i call to talk to the Owner, Tom refuses to allow me to talk to him and keeps telling me he is in charge. While i was there i witnessed Tom try to fight a customer at the Home Depot parking lot. This guy had air tubes in his nose. I also did inspections when i was there and im not even certified. I worked on a girls car that had no transmission fluid in it and brought it up to Tom and he said push it out and the next day she was back because her car ran horrible. He made me pass cars with oil leaking on the exhaust because they were his friends. Apparently he does not like african americans because i saw pictures of a noose he hung on an african americans toolbox. ( I still have the picture). I have never in my life seen the amount of cars come back to a shop in my life and i was a mechanic in the Army for six years with to tours under my belt. I just cant beleive i can get fired for someone who thinks hes the owner when the owner isnt around and refuses to let me speak to the owner. 9086019074 for anybody who wants more of this story because its alll true.
