(de zavala location)My experience here was a nightmare. My sons new (to him)car was ""skipping"", when i took it to Meineke on Dezavala I was told that the fuel injectors needed cleaning. It sounded hoaky to me...but what do i know? When I got home my husband laughed and said that I was getting robbed. he said that it sounded like the sparkplugs. I had left my son there with the car while it was repaired, and left them a check for 140.00 for the ""repairs"". When I got home my husband told me that it sounded like the sparkplugs, he said that i was b eing scammed.I called Meineke with my concerns and was told that ""well if your husband is a mechanic....whgy dont you have HIM repair the car?"" good point, i guess. The car was done at closing time, and my 16 year old son said that the second he pulled out of their driveway it began skipping again. I called them immediately, but of course, there was no answer. They were closed.UTo make a long story short, i took the car to the Lincoln dealership who immediately identified the problem as a sparkplug coil and repaired it. i looked up ""fuel injector cleaning "" online and found out that it is the biggest scam around...i put a stop payment on the check. When the owner Raphael called to ask me why i put the stop payment I explained. I said that i was more than happy to go to court and let a Judge decide. I never heard from him again
