Recommends\r \r I had several problems with my1997 Nissan in 2013 even now something else has come up. I wish I had known about this shop earlier on, the manager takes time to explain in terms that you can understand. Each time I take my car always for a different problem I never leave feeling taken advantage of. They always work so hard to find the issue and never make repairs that are not needed. I appreciate their efforts in maintaining the performance and safety of my vehicle. I was shocked by the poor reviews I read and I'm glad I didn't read them till now. I would have written a review sooner but the link doesn't seem to work. Anyway the management and mechanics have been wonderful towards me and they always bring new life to my 1997 Nissan. \r \r more

I was recommented by my friend to Meineke in Lodi for brake and other services to my 2004 toyota RAV4, first I was hesitant to go there due to the negative ratings noticed, but fortunately I experienced a warm and honest treatment from the manager of this shop also the pricing is found to be around 20% cheaper with premium parts made in USA and Europe than other shops offered me around, he showed me the parts old & new and I am convinced. I am surprised to see the reviews on this shop by Jesse p. of 1985 saab 900 which is supposed to be a junk car good for nothing and bill k. claims three customers were charged the same price of $ 375.00 for muffler and pipe for different cars something not sound right. I believe these people did not get something free from this shop or did not get their vehicles repaired free of charge on somebodies expenses and end up in distroying their business which was built from hard work and integrity. Also I came to know this shop is serving this neigbourhood for the last 25 years under the same ownership which shows their honesty and excellant service to the customers. I would recommend this shop to everybody who wants to service their cars with 5 star rating, please refer google web site for this shop's reviews as well. Happy....Happy ...Customer\r more

Avoid this service center!... They really do not seem to know what they are doing. They seem to have little knowledge about cars, and they act shady!\r \r Went in, twice, with coupons for oil change + ""20 point inspection"". The first time they did not seem to perform a very good inspection, and the second time I went in they ADMITTED to not doing the inspection, even though I asked them to do so.\r \r Some of what they told me included ""the car is old"" (as some kind of justification for not inspecting it?), they told me that my car has a REAR e-brake (AFTER INSPECTING THE BRAKES!), when in fact the e-brake is on the front ('85 saab 900)- all while trying to sell me a brake overhaul. \r \r They also failed to notice low coolant level and low air in one tire (performed my own ""inspection"" after they failed to). Bottom line- this place seems awful shady and should be avoided! more

MEINEKE THIEVES 7/9/2011

I was there 0n 7/8/11 to check some rattling noise under my accura rl ,when the manager looked ad it he suggested that catalytic converter is bad and oxygen sensor needs to be replaced, when parts came in they replaced them just to have same noise, mechanic was having trouble locating the noise and finally found it .the O ring that connects muffler pipe to the converter was bad and they replaced it,i ended up getting robed out of my money $650.00 for parts needed no replacement and i was not permitted to take my sensor with me which looked in very good condition .be careful with this thieves they will rob you. more

Lier!!! 4/15/2009

I wanted to change the engine oil for my BMW. They said it would be $50 on the phone. Compared to $85 in another workshop, it was bargain. When they were changing oil for my car, they suggested me to use Syntec oil because BMW has to use Syntec oil which will increase the cost to $90. I agreed. Later they said the car needs 8 bottle oils, instead of 6 bottles. It will bring the cost to $110. I questioned why I had to pay $20 for two bottles. The owner told me the Castrol Syntec oil is $11.95 for each bottle. $10 per bottle is already the bargain. After I paid $110 plus tax and went back, I checked the price in Walmart and other auto stores. It is only $5 per bottle! They are liers. I will never go back again!!! Cons: Lier more

I bought a used car that needed some fixing up and they've done a great job. They don't charge unreasonable rates either. They make you feel like a friend! more
