I was a loyal customer for 6 years and recommended them to people I love. Now that I know the truth, I need to make up for that and let you know how they really do business. At the very end of March I went in for some general things like oil, balancing, and brake pads. I felt then that the price was too high and they said I would need new rotors soon, but wanted $800 to do the full brake job. By mid Aug. my brakes were shot! (BTW I do not commute to work in this car and have a great driving record) But I figured the problems were because of the rotors. They wanted 3X more than the list price on new parts and way over estimated the time necessary to do the work; we decided to just do this simple repair ourselves. Imagine my suprise when the left front caliper only had 1 bolt screwed into it. They are the only ones to touch it so it must have not been put in properly, or at all! The brake pads looked great - all except the ones on the side where the caliper was only half on. Those were worn down on only 1 side of the pad. This is a well balanced 2004 honda odyssey. They won't take responsibility or even say sorry. They only offered to return my bolt. This is unacceptable. They risked the safety of my family. Oh, and to top it all off, my rotors looked great. They just wanted to pad their wallets. Nice way to treat a loyal customer. At the very, very least they should say sorry. Really, they should have offered to redo the service correctly. Daryl the supervisor did neither and corporate hasn't returned my call. Pathetic.
