My family member died because of negligence on Medstat's part. She was staying at Bonnterra Nursing Facility. Medstat came late and picked up my mother and took her to Southern Regional rather than South Fulton Hospital. South Fulton is right next to the rehab/nursing home. There was an employee from medstat that looked drugged up and it sounds like this was the same person that got fired. Well I'm glad they got rid of that employee. He did not act like he cared. The hospital said she choked on her own vomit and if this employee suctioned her airway, she would probably be fine today. I remember the EMT very well; 5'9 to 5'10 caucasain,""white"", very skinny, blue eyes, black hair and wore a black hat and had a large nose. I think the guy who got fired was him. The other EMT' s that I've seen there are ok. The ""so called ambulance"" they were riding on was old, and leaked water inside so I drove my car to the hospital instead of ride with. I was driving faster than they were on the interstate and they were running emergency with lights and sirens on. I noticed that half the lights on this ambulance were not working and is very dangerous. My mother passed away on the way to the hospital with that incompetent EMT in the back with her! His license should be revoked and burned and never allowed to work anywhere. Furiously frustrated, C. Copperpot
