Best

friendly staff and tasty foods at an affordable price.

Worst

Ok- to be fair, I don't even know if the 2 star rating is valid, because I didn't stay here long enough to eat. Pros: Its a *convenient* location... Cons: Crowded and loud...

great food, service and atmosphere 10/9/2005

This restaurant has a very relaxing, elegant atmosphere with delicious tapas and a great wine selection in addition to a full bar with homemade mojitos and sangria. It is located on the walkstreet of Hermosa Pier right where all the action is. We sat outside and just relaxed for a couple of hours, it was highly enjoyable. Pros: food, location, atmosphere more

While i love parting in Hermosa there are not many choices for a nice night out with my girl friend. I took her to mediterraneo and we both loved it. Good atmosphere, great food, and not very expensive. Pros: tapas, music Cons: bathrooms old more

The Worst Mediterranean Food I've Ever Had... 6/4/2005

If I wasn't a nice guy, I would have ran out of here without paying. Wow, this was seriously not only the worst Meditteranean food I've ever had, but perhaps the worst FOOD I've ever had. It's basically a tourist trap that attracts helpless out-of-staters who are fooled by the restaurant's location. We ordered ""tapas,"" which are anything but that, and were instead served with bland, overpriced fare. The spicy shrimp plate was basically 3 small shrimp sauteed in oil. The rest of the menu was similar, with tiny portions, high prices and no flavor or authenticity. You're better off grabbing a slice of pizza from a place up the street. Even that is more ""Meditteranean"" than this place... Pros: Location Cons: Food, Price more

  • In Short
An upscale, casual vibe transports diners from rowdy Pier Plaza to the southern European coast, to linger over wine and pitchers of sangria. A substantial tapas menu includes...
