Medical Center Shell

Took my car in for a simple oil change....took him an hour to complete with no other customers waiting. Since he brought the car down from the lift, there has been a squeeking sound from one of the wheel wells. I feel this clown damaged something maybe thinking I would bring it back to him to get fixed. During the oil change the guy manning the shop(?owner) would go out to the mechanic near my car several times to talk about ?. Seemed pretty shady to me. He charged $17 just for labor to do the oil change. Rotten scoundrels.....I hope they go out of business! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GUY TO ANYONE more

Several years ago, they were good honest mechanics. Then a group of young money-hungry punks inherited the place and made a mess out of it. They lie, they disrespect the customer and they overcharge at the end. I needed a piece for my car, first promised in one hours, which turned to 5 hours, and finally I needed to leave the car and walk home (which luckily was just 3 miles away) to pick the car at a later time. It seems that they break a piece and they did not tell me. Then they added all the time to the bill at the end. Later another mechanic, who has been my high school classmate, told me that the piece they break was because of their negligence and every mechanic knows how to remove it. This may be the rare situation, but I hope that it will not happen to anyone else. more

I work around the corner from this gas station and have had my car inspected there last year. This year, I needed the two front tires replaced and another inspection. I knew there were things wrong with my car that would probably cause it to fail inspection. The catalytic converter was not working properly and I hadn't had a tune up in years. They fixed the catalytic converter, replaced the two front tires and did a tune up and the inspection for a very fair price. Even though the price was fair, I still couldn't afford to plunk the whole payment down. They agreed to let me pay half now and the other half when I get paid next. My car is 10 years old and it is running better now, than it has in the past two years. I am very happy with this Shell and will refer my friends and co-workers. Pros: Location is good, prices and hours are good, nice people Cons: None that I have seen. more
