Please dont support this store,they are a puppy mill supporter!they get their pups from some of the largest brokers around ,just check out their kennel license reports through the pa dept of agriculture,700 dogs sold in on year!how can they come from local legitimate breeders?(local legitimate breeders dont need a middleman)always end for a report on your pup to see where he truly comes from thru a petshop puppies sight its free!and eye opening.please look into other venues like adoption or rescue when looking for a dog! more

Run, don't walk, as far as you can from this chain! The dogs are the runts of the litters from the breeders, and the owner unloads on the unsuspecting public. The stores are dirty, some dogs are diseased, and the animals are overpriced. You'll do better with any of the other pet stores in the area. more

Before We Love Pets, the store was a disaster. It was dirty, run down, and cluttered. After We Love Pets took over, it was renovated and turned completely 180 degrees. I go there at least once a week to check out their selection of dogs. What I like most about this place is that if you are looking for a certain type of animal, you can pre-order it with specifications going as far as what you want it to look like. The staff is knowledgeable and will help you make the best decision as to what breed is best for you, just let them know your situation (home? apartment? kids?) and they can make a great recommendation. The prices are a little high, but as said in other reviews, you do get a lot to go along with the package. A free veterinary visit for the pup is awesome! These people aren't just owners, they are animal lovers and are in the right line of business for them. Great Place more

What an awful store. The dogs they sell here are COMPLETELY overpriced ($3000 for a bulldog? Shocking. $900 for a beagle? awful) And I've seen some dogs bought from here as adults -- terrible specimens of the breeds. They look like SPCA specials. Also, you had better want this inbred dog for SURE, because even with huge behavioral problems (my friends got a beagle who bit, humped, growled and barked 24/7 to the point where they were evicted from their apartment. Plus the puppy had parasites) they wont TAKE the dog back for FREE. Not even within three days. Also, there is no food selection. They have Science Diet and IAMS, which are both terrible foods for your dogs, and which dogs dont like anyway. I can't believe they are still in business. more

The Media Pet Store is now under new ownership and is called WE Love Pets. I purchased a puppy there 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. The puppies come with guarantees and the price includes a visit to Old Marple Veterinarians. Also included with the dog was a collar, leash and small crate. My puppy has been totally healthy, but if she was found to have problems - from kennel cough to needing major surgery We Love Pets would pay for any necessary procedure as long as it was performed by Old Marple Vet. Prices in this place can be a little high, but it is worth it. more
