Working with Mederi Health has been life changing. I struggled with hormone issues for years, but didn't know it. Many doctors told me to ""just walk 5 minutes a day"" to explain my weight gain, or ""see a psychologist"". I Am So Pleased I Called Mederi Health!!! My symptoms started a little over 2 yrs ago...insatuable itching at times, on my legs, arms off and on, not only did my doctor advise it was eczema so did a dermatologist. The cream worked on the arms, and the leg problems seem to go away as well... then the itching returned, this time it was on legs and in my ears... I was again told eczema and to put Olive Oil in my ears it would help (the ears they couldn't explain, figured they were just dry). I really didn't believe it was eczema nor did I want to be putting olive oil in my ears....as time went on, some other issues popped up with my toe nails, itching on the fatty stomach area, and what I call a traveling itch in my shoulders & neck area and ears. No rhyme or reason for it, dry skin I was told, ecezma. For several years, I also had light brownish skin spots on my arms and back. I would continue to use the creams provided to help the attacks.... then I just lost energy & focus, could not multi task to do my job, didn't feel like doing much and the itching remained. Good News travels far!! - I contacted Mederi Health for an appointment, after receiving the questionnaire, I felt my symptoms were very small compared to others... and I would be wasting Mederi's time. ... When I visited the clinic we went over several areas of possibility, took some tests and found not only did I have yeast/ bacteria issues, my stress levels were very high, my sleeping habits were poor due to the cortisol levels the interrupted sleep due to the itching, and other important chemical factors for my system would need to be addressed as well. ** Guess what!! It isn't eczema at all, the itching is gone, my stress levels have decreased tremendously, I'm sleeping better, cleansed my system, resolved issues I didn't even know I had, my focus and energy is back, the spots are gone and as a extra bonus... Nina and the staff at Mederi are amazing! I found them through a Groupon for a three week detox and it is amazing the results I have seen in under an month. \r \r Nina takes the time to meet with you and discuss the things you are hoping to improve. I have been suffering with allergies and a decrease in energy for a while now. She helped me customize a detox program and followed up with me weekly to make sure I was moving in a positive direction. At the end of the three weeks, I have lost ten pounds, gained energy and haven't had any sinus symptoms. \r \r Nina is an amazing listener and she and the rest of the team help provide you with the necessary materials for success. I am 36, and have always eaten healthy, worked to manage my stress in healthy ways, and exercise regularly. Following a period of very stressful life events, I gained 25 lbs without changing my diet, was feeling exhausted all the time, and was not responding well to stress. My doctor ran some tests which indicated that I was glucose intolerant and insulin resistant, a pre-cursor to diabetes, and I was shocked. In our phone consultations, Nina really worked to understand me, and fine tuned my program based on what works for my lifestyle. They gave me a plan, and the information I needed to begin healing. Within a month I had more energy and was losing weight without dieting....and within just 3 months my test results were nearly back to normal! I now have more energy than I have had in a long time! The summer of 2010 was a difficult one for me. I was exhausted all the time yet had trouble sleeping. Being so tired lead to other issues such as weight gain, depression and all over body aches. I felt many years beyond my age and was frustrated that I could not do the things i wanted to with my kids. Then I saw Dr. Kristen Lee on CO & Company talking about taking care of the underlying issues and looking at all aspects rather than just treating individual symptoms. I had been to doctors in the past and had treated several of my symptoms individually with out much success. I was hopeful that I would finally get real help when I made my appointment to see Dr. Lee. Now I have my energy back, I have lost over 30 pounds, I am exercising and feeling good once again. In August of 2010, I just happened to be flipping the television channels, and I was fortunate enough to catch Dr. Kristen Lee on CO & Company. I instantly felt like Dr. Lee was addressing my specific concerns. I was so excited to hear that someone understood the challenges women face with weight gain and a sluggish metabolism. When I first went to Dr. Lee's office, I was immediately made to feel welcome by the office staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I was amazed during my first consultation with Dr. Lee. She listened to my needs and concerns and was very insightful. She ordered the necessary tests and confirmed her suspicions. She immediately put me on a plan to correct my issues. While under her care, Dr. Lee and her staff visited with me frequently, either in person or on the phone, to listen to my issues and concerns and offer wonderful research-based information. I was continually impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Dr. Lee and her staff. I sincerely appreciated the time and personal care I received with every visit and phone call. I was pleasantly surprised that after a short time, I lost 12 pounds and 3 inches off my waist. This was just the right amount of weight for me to lose with my short stature. If your health matters to you, then Dr. Kristen Lee is the person to see. The office is located in a neighborhood by Cherry Creek. The office is very professional in feel and how it operates. Dr. Lee's initial consultation is incredibly extensive and she starts putting together the pieces right away. Dr. Lee is tenacious in her approach to locating the cause of the dis-ease and finding a remedy. Often it is the underlying symptoms that are hard to diagnose, but that is where Dr. Lee shines. She helped me with adrenal deficiency, hormonal issues and food allergy analysis. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and I am glad I found her. more
