I went to Diley for my Sphynx kittens were doing poorly. Wwhen i entered the building told them i had one kitten dying. The resceptionest told us no other animals were there so we would be seen right away.. They put me and my son in a room with kittens had to fill out papper work , we waited 15- 20 min before the kittens wer taken back to see the vet on duty evan though they were aware one was dying. Very upsetting we opened the door a few times receptionest asured us they would be right in. It was very hard not to say anything to them about the way things were handled, had a hard time convincing my son not to blow up. After taking kittens back to acess them it was taking a while ,i asked receptionist if we could go back to see them, she said they are keeping them in a incubater which had warm air circulating them and oxygen being pumped in,so ii felt ok ill give them time. Soon after they said the one kitten had passed. Would it have been saved if we didnt wait the 20 minutes? When the Dr. Came out he explained he didnt believe they had any red blood cells or imune system, they were dehydrated, that they were all bad off. I asked him if i could see the incubater they were in so maybe i could set one up at home. The Dr. Informed me they were only in my tote with my heating pad and blankets wrapped up.m. Left me to believe my kittens were basically on a death sentence. To give fluids to the 4 kittens and keep over nite was gonna run 1500.00 with no guarantee. I chose to take them home. Took them to my vet as soon as they opened they are doing fine only thing wrong they were dehydrated. They were each given 12 cc of fluids. Why did all this happen the un truths I paid them with regret. My lil kitten may had made it if taken right in instead of waiting.
