~$40,000 to deliver a baby! They charge (overcharge) a ridiculous amount for every possible thing. For many items, they make up additional names for the same thing so that they can put it on the bill twice. Room charges/recovery room charges/observation room charges/operating room charges - we were only in two rooms during our stay! Then a week later we get a separate bill for the baby. Guess what? More "room charges". more

Great service 3/27/2013

I was admitted on March 22 2013 this past Friday by fire rescue. I was in Cleareater for the weekend and Friday afternoon I started having chest and back pain. Fire rescue took me and I was admitted. I neded to have my Gallbladder removed. The service provided by my nursing staff was outstanding. One nurse who's first name was Mila and she treated me with exceptional care. Also a nurse Ursula and a tech Vladis were also outstanding. In addition the physicians from the ER to the surgeons were great. This hospital made my stay as great as possible. more

This hosp is only good at delivering baby's anything else STAY AWAY The Drs are clueless don't pay attention...don't listen and the staff stinks they seem to be over worked and need to go back to school can't get a hold of the Dr's when you need them , Then when You find them They don't know anything. I would not go to this hospital for a cold!! more

Maternity Care A++! 3/23/2007

A friend of mine recommended that I deliver at Mease Countryside. I took her up on her recommendation because she had such a great experience. She had a huge room, the nurses were wonderful, and she had told me the food was delicious - unlike most typical "hospital" food. She was right! I had a fantastic experience. I delivered my 2nd child there via c-section and I can tell you (since I had previous "experience") that this hospital really does take very good care of you! Great food too! (Who would have thought?) It's a very clean hospital as well and patient care is a priority. I would recommend to anyone! Especially those of you who need or might need a c-section, because their care for c-section patients is phenomenal! more
