This newspaper at best is ok. I work in a field where I see the actual criminals and can totally see a lot of misreported or omitted information in the paper. Sometimes the story is more fiction and misrepresentation than actual news. They also get it right too. Their website isn't all that great but it's functional. They do hire a guy to stand around at local stores trying to push the paper, this guy alone is the reason I cancelled my subscription and stopped shopping at a local grocery store, very high pressure and would not take no for an answer. more

One really good paper for the size of the city.... 12/16/2005

We actually only subscribe to the weekend papers so I can get the sales ads. We don't get it the rest of the week because newspapers mean clutter to me. The Tribune has almost everything we are interested in online. So on the days we don't get the paper, we often look at the online version. We advertise occasionally with this newspaper. We have had very good results. We feel the rates are reasonable. Even those who don't subscribe to the paper can go online and look at the ads. I recommend subscribing to this newspaper or at least checking it out online. more
