Terrible company, terrible product. Maryland Pools built the pool at our old house, and despite some minor issues, we were relatively satisfied. We moved to a new house and had them again buld a pool for us. What a mistake! Since day one we've had issues with the plastering, tile and coping. Our pool is less than eight years old and for the past two years we've had issues with the plaster becoming pitted which allows for a particularly hard to treat form of algae to grow. The coping is loose and tiles are falling off, both in the pool and in the spa they also built. The spa doesn't hold water. We have to fill it daily. We've called many, many times and get nowhere with them. They did send their sub contractor to look at the tile. We were told it would take up to $12,000 to fix the problem, for an 8-year old pool! It it costs less to fill the pool in, I'm doing that and posting it on YouTube.
