When Ollie McAteer opened the doors to the first of the McAteer's family line of stores back in 1936, he never envisioned after 77 years and four generations later his insistence for customer service would still be the key to what keeps McAteer's moving ahead in 2013. With the start of a new decade, McAteer's also has a new look: landscape lighting!

Our service area now encompasses not only the Fairview Heights and surrounding cities, but we now service customers from Missouri to Kentucky. Thus a move was needed to a central area in the newly growing central Belleville. Our address and phone number may have changed, but not our concept or the way we service our customers. Although we have moved to Belleville, we are still easy to get to for those lamp repairs.
With over 10,000 landscape lights installed and billboards around town as constant reminders, it's easy to forget that McAteer's also is known as the gas log experts with over 35 years of experience, service and installation. Lamp repair has been a long established tradition at McAteer's.
After 77 years there is not much we don't service or fix. Our new location allows us more service vehicles, and the logistics and scheduling personnel to keep McAteer's growing into the next decade.
